The gardenia is native to the forest edges of Japan, China and Taiwan. Of all the white flowers, the gardenia is the most complex and unsettling. Its white flower is very fragrant, opulent with green notes. It can be a little closer to jasmine.

The coffee tree is an evergreen shrub of the Rubiaceae family. It is native to the highlands of Ethiopia and tropical Africa. The fragrance of coffee is round, syrupy, sweet and chocolate. Its smell may resemble that of tobacco, but much sweeter, more gourmet and enveloping. The coffee brings a spicy note to the compositions, and an excellent hold.
