Jasmine
Jasmine is a tall shrub or woody climber, evergreen and with white, star-shaped flowers. Depending on the variety and country of origin, jasmine has different scents. Thus, an Egyptian jasmine will be deep, more sensual, sunny and fruity. Jasmine grown in Grasse diffuses a greener, more floral, fresh scent.
Patchouli
Patchouli is a kind of large shrub whose broad leaves are carried by a long hairy stem, which is adorned with purplish white flowers. A tropical plant par excellence, it is cultivated in particular in Indonesia, China and the Philippines. It is the drying of its leaves that will create its fragrance. The essence of patchouli releases an earthy and humid scent but also a fresh one. Its characteristic smell can recall musty notes reminiscent of a slightly overripe apple or a wine cork.
